A little old fashioned, a little modern - you're the best of both worlds. And so is Amsterdam.
Whether you want to be a squatter graffiti artist or a great novelist, Amsterdam has all that you want in Europe (in one small city).

Another city I want to visit.

I love the European City quiz! For once, I liked my results - Dublin!
Channon,
Thanks for stopping by. I found your blog and was delighted to hear you had visited "MY LYS", Lettuce Knit in Richmon. It is my VERY FAVORITE and I can tell you why. Those ladies are the greatest and they are always the same. They put people and helping them learn to knit before sales, knowing that if they learn them to knit and are always there to help, the sales will happen automatically. I have never been disappointed with the shop in any way, people, products, or classes. They are TOP NOTCH in my opinion. They aren't the oldes shop in the Richmond area, or the largest shop (probably the smallest in footage)but you will always find the shop full of people. Going in some of the other shops I often wonder how they keep their doors open.
I was so VERY impressed. One of my local shops carries Jitterbug once in a while, but it's the one I won't spend money in, because of poor service when the owners aren't present. Anne has a new blog to review LYSs. I don't know the new blog's address off the top of my head, but you can find Anne's link to it at www.yarnfamily.com, maybe the second post down or so?
Amsterdam is a perfect match to you, I should know, since I am your daughter. You should get a kick knowing that mine was London.
Yes, and what a sweetie pie of a daughter you are. I love you.

Most of my friends turn out to be linked to amsterdam! I am too...It is a nice little quiz to do and seems popular too. We have thunder, lightening and pouring rain today, and it's sad because of all the summer fetes and fayres going on. I am in need of some inspiration craft wise...I just don't know what to start doing. I have plenty of yarn, plenty of materail, pleanty of patterns for both yet I can't make my mind up! Think i just need to go and make something to get me going again! Hope you are well...love M x
